Course Description
The course focuses on effective managements and flow of materials through an organization supply chain.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course the learners should be able to

  • Understand fleet and freight Transport Management
  • Familiarize Transport Planning
  • Explore new methods and technologies in warehousing
  • Help logistics managers to manage the physical flow of goods, and the associated information flow, in close cooperation with various partners: suppliers, clients, transporters, and distributors.

  • Gain detailed insight into managing the flow of materials across the whole supply chain and analyze how logistics is a goals-critical function
  • Discover why it is so essential to maximize your supply chain’s potential and explain the whole process from source through industrial processing to the customer and then one day onto final disposal or recycling
  • The importance of why managers must balance cost, effectiveness and risk to fulfill the demands of their organization's supply chain

Entry Requirements
The following candidates are eligible to apply: Holders of WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level)/NABTEB or its equivalent with Credit passes in Four (4) subjects at not more than Two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, and any Two (2) relevant subjects.
